Boys Romp in Home Opener; Tripleheader Friday

DSC_6698Adam Grant scored 20 points and Bash Townes added 15 and a dozen boards as the Oaks raced past Life Christian Academy, 69-33, Tuesday in their home opener.

Kyonze Chavis was also in double figures for Collegiate with a dozen points. Every player saw time on the hardwood.

Kyle McNair scored seven, Jimmy Hurley and Jakeim Robertson had five each, Jobin Chandi three and Paul Cantu two points.

The Oaks are 5-1 on the season. They play at 3 p.m. Friday at home against Atlantic Shores. Give yourself the afternoon off and watch the high-flying boys followed by the undefeated girls.

Reliable sources (well, as reliable as teens get) tell the blog that the Nuts of the Treehouse have a surprise in store. Don’t be late for the tipoff.
