Girls Fall in TCIS Quarterfinal


The Oaks gave up a goal with three minutes left in regulation to fall, 2-1, to Bishop Sullivan Catholic High School in the quarterfinal round of the TCIS Tournament Tuesday.

Junior Vera Sacks scored for Collegiate while classmate Sarah Philpott had eight saves in goal to keep the game close.

Maddie Bettencourt scored with 3 minutes left in regulation and had an assist. Mary Mooney also scored. Kelsey McCoy had an assist. Sarah Philpott had 8 saves for Norfolk Collegiate.
