Sailors Win TCIS, Travel to Annapolis This Weekend

The varsity sailing team captured another TCIS confererence championship in racing at Fort Monroe last week, leaving rivals in their wake.



Senior Dreugh Phillips was named TCIS Sailor of the Year. Skippers Darden Purrington and Victor Layne also had strong performances for the Oaks.


Phillips, Ellie Maus, Sarah E. Smith and Nick Baker were named to the all-conference squad.

The team travels to Annapolis this weekend for the Mid-Atlantic Scholastic Sailing Association team racing championships where Collegiate will race two teams.
