Girls Win TCIS Title

Sarah Smallets scored off a cross fromDSC_0947 Ann Burns Morrison, who made a determined run down the sideline, late in the game to give the Oaks the TCIS Tournament title, 3-2, over Cape Henry in front of a delirious Treehouse. Hannah Beale scored the first goal for the Oaks, who fell behind 2-1 at the half, but showed their heart and grit in a very physical contest.

Ashby Larkin’s second half goal drew the Oaks even before Smallets put them on top.
