Wrestlers Fourth at TCIS Tourney

IMG_3589In an epic performance, the boys wrestling squad — all six of them — posted first or second place finishes at the TCIS Tournament to put the undermanned Norfolk Collegiate squad in fourth place.

Junior Chris Beck, undefeated on the campaign, won the title at 170 pounds and was named Outstanding Wrestler. He was joined on the top step of the podium by junior Chad Bullock, who took the 285-pound title.

IMG_3472The other four Oaks wrestled for titles, but came up just short in a gritty performance.

Eighth grader Jacob Roth was second at 113 pounds, freshman Miles Edmond second at 120 pounds, junior Elijah Nestor second at 145 pounds, and senior Jacob Conn second at 160 pounds.
