Boys Hold On For Win

adamdunkThe Oaks took a 33-23 halftime lead and then hung on to defeat Northeastern High School of North Carolina, 51-47, before a packed Treehouse Friday afternoon.

Big Bash Townes, who was presented a commemorative ball for scoring 1,000 points in his Collegiate career before the game, had another strong effort with 23 points and 8 rebounds.

Adam Grant, whose thunderous dunk ended the first half, poured in 12 with 8 rebounds while Keyonze Chavis added eight points and six boards.

The team plays Trinity Episcopal at 5 p.m. today in the Treehouse.
