Opener a Blowout for Oaks

DSC_2993Nearly everyone scored as the Oaks, riding a 26-4 third-quarter run, put the game away early on the way to an 84-52 crushing of visiting Steward School.
Junior Big Man Bash Townes led Norfolk Collegiate with 24 points, most of them inside. Keyonze Chavis popped for 17 and point guard Adam Grant scored 16 driving to the basket and hitting from downtown.

Collegiate overcame a slow first quarter to stretch the lead to 38 in the third quarter before everyone got in the game.
