Thriller: Oaks in OT

DSC_1308Michael Ortiz blasted home a cross from Joey Swartz in the first minutes of extra time and the Oaks preserved the lead to defeat Nansemond-Suffolk Academy, 3-2, Tuesday at home.

The goal was Ortiz’s second of the game. Senior Christian Keller netted the other goal off a beautiful header for Norfolk Collegiate.

Last week, the Oaks lost to a tough Norfolk Academy team, 2-0.

The team plays at home against Cape Henry on Thursday.
