Bashara, Marshall First Team All-TCIS

annie DSC_6176 DSC_6191 Senior Virginia Marshall and junior Annie Bashara were named to the first team All-TCIS girls lacrosse squad. Joining them on the second team is junior Peyton Fancher.

The team finished the regular season 10-5 and is seeded second in the VISAA tournament. They play today at home at 4:30 against Nansemond-Suffolk Academy.

Second team: Courtney Byler (Norfolk Academy); Brooke Castleberry (Cape Henry); Peyton Fancher (Norfolk Collegiate); Sarah Higinbotham (Nansemond-Suffolk); Jessica Mazzeo (Bishop Sullivan); Alden Stedfast (Norfolk Academy); Megan Sullivan (Bishop Sullivan).

Co-Players of the Year: Madison Acra (Norfolk Academy) and Georgia Breit (Cape Henry).

Coach of the Year: Blair Weymouth (Norfolk Academy).

Sportsmanship Award: Cape Henry.
