Girls Crush Catholic; Ranked Second in State

The girls soccer team, ranked second in the state, dominated Peninsula Catholic Monday, winning 9-0 at home.

Junior Virginia Sanford and eighth grader Sarah Smith each scored a hat trick for the Oaks while Natalie Batzel, Cameron Brown, and Hannah Beale also scored.

In the previous week, the Oaks dropped a tough-fought game 2-0 to Norfolk Academy and drew with Trinity Episcopal, 0-0.
