Smothering Defense Carries Boys into Semifinals

DSC_4047A smothering and aggressive defense, which limited Greenbrier Christian Academy to three points in the first half, keyed the boys varsity TCIS Tourney win, 66-30, Tuesday in the Treehouse.

Adam Grant led the Oaks with 13 points, but it was a balanced attack with Bash Townes scoring 11 points, Marcus Anderson 12 points, and Mark Madison 10 points.

The Oaks will play Cape Henry in Friday’s 5:30 p.m. semifinal at Norfolk Christian.
