Oaks March Saints to Defeat

After a sluggish first three quarters, the Oaks arose and sent Nansemond-Suffolk’s Saints marching home in defeat, 55-36 on Thursday.

Marcus Anderson had his biggest game of the season with 18 points, nine boards, and three blocks.

For most of the game, the shots were not falling for the Oaks until the fourth quarter when they spurted to a big lead and cruised to the win.

Bash Townes scored 14, Adam Grant had 11, and Mark Madison 10 on Senior Night.

Seniors Mark Howlett, Cabell Thomas, and Mohit Chandi were recognized before the game.
