Girls Dispatch Ambassadors

DSC_2798Shahra Madison was an unstoppable force Thursday night as the Oaks girls defeated rival Norfolk Christian 42-37.

Collegiate held a slim halftime lead and extended it during the fourth quarter, fending off the Ambassadors as Madison controlled the boards, often giving the team second, third, and even fourth chances inside.

She finished with 19 points and a whopping 23 rebounds despite fighting a balky knee.

Kristin Rempas added six points and three steals for the Oaks, who moved to 6-4 on the season.
