Keeper Cavolt Named Athlete of the Month

Junior Jessie Cavolt, a stalwart in goal, has earned the distinction of being named the first Norfolk Collegiate athlete of the month.

Cavolt, a captain of the field hockey team, makes save after save, directs the defense with confidence and authority, and inspires her teammates with her enthusiasm. Her strong defensive play resulted in being named to the Steward Invitational All-Tournament Team earlier this month.

She is the last line of the Oak defense in the fall and the spring. While she spends her days during autumn kicking out potential field hockey goals, she steps in as the keeper for the soccer team in the spring.
