Sencindiver Wins First Coaching Award

emily-sencindiverGirls field hockey coach Emily Sencindiver was named the first recipient of The Award for Excellence in Coaching.

The award, new this year, recognizes an individual who, through love of athletic competition and commitment to the overall development of Norfolk Collegiate student-athletes, serves as a role model for both athletes and coaches alike, and advances the mission of the school through strength of character and integrity.

Sencindiver captained the Catholic University team, graduating in 2011, and was a four-time Division III All-Academic selection. She is a third grade teacher who has been a Collegiate coach since 2011.
