Tennis Team Wins, State Semifinals Friday

tennistourney1The boys tennis team is headed to Richmond Friday for the semifinals of the VISAA Tennis Tournament.

The team served up a strong showing Tuesday, defeating Nansemond-Suffolk Academy, 6-3, at home. They play against North Cross at noon on the courts at the Collegiate School in Richmond.

The Oaks are 13-2 on the season, losing only to Cape Henry and Norfolk Academy, the top two teams in Division I. The Oaks compete in Division II.tennistourney3
