Six Second Half Goals Drive Girls’ Win

DSC_6611After a first half during which they were unable to finish numerous scoring opportunities, the Oaks girls soccer team broke a 1-1 tie with a barrage of second-half goals Thursday at Nansemond-Suffolk Academy.

Cameron Brown had another hat trick for Collegiate, scoring three times in the second half. Virginia Sanford scored two goals, one in each half including a beautiful header, and Ann Burns Morrison and keeper Jessie Cavolt, who played the final ten minutes at striker, each added a goal.
