Girls Down Atlantic Shores

DSC_5467Sarah Smallets drilled a shot from the top of the box late in the first half for the margin of victory as the girls varsity soccer team defeated Atlantic Shores 1-0 Tuesday.

The Oaks controlled portions of the game, but couldn’t get another score.

Jessie Cavolt was stalwart in goal, recording 10 saves for her first shutout of the season.

The young team has now won three of their last four games.

They play next Friday, April 5 at Princess Anne High School then open the TCIS season with a 5 p.m. Saturday game (April 6) at ODU against Norfolk Christian.
