Treehouse Delight: Oaks Rout ‘Dogs


Norfolk Collegiate routed Norfolk Academy 56-33 Saturday in a packed and delirious Treehouse that was rocking all night long.

The Oaks took control from the start, jumping to a big lead and then handled the Bulldogs’ press with ease cruising to the win.

Freshman Keyonze Chavis led the winners with 16 points. His classmate, Bash Townes, was the only other Oak in double figures with 11.

The Oaks are 10-2 and ranked tenth in the area.

The team plays away against the Steward School on Friday, then plays at Lake Taylor Saturday morning in the MLK Classic.
