Winter Sports Kicks Off with Teacher Appreciation Night Friday

The winter sports season opens in earnest Friday with the wrestling and basketball teams in action.

But they won’t be the only ones in the spotlight. For Friday’s basketball games at home, it will be Teacher Appreciation Night. There will be contests and prizes and a smorgasbord of spirit wear on sale.

The evening kicks off at 5 p.m. with face painting at the Upper School followed by the girls varsity basketball game against St. Anne’s-Belfield School at 5:30. Don’t be late.

The boys will follow with a game at 7 p.m. against Northeastern High School.

Meanwhile, the grapplers travel to Granby Friday afternoon for the Kickoff Classic.
