Boys Soccer Dominates Currituck

The Varsity Boys Soccer team defeated Currituck County High School 3-1 Tuesday at home. The Oaks controlled much of the game, sealing the win with a late goal.

The defense was anchored by Joe Isley and Jon Beck. Scoring goals for the Oaks were Alex Railean, John Taylor-Fishwick, and Ryan Russell.

“The boys played hard today,” said Coach Kai Evans. “Their effort was admirable. As long as our team functions as one cohesive unit with each player picking up one another, we will have a successful season.”

The team next plays Friday at Nansemond Suffolk Academy.
