Big D Leads Big Comeback for Lacrosse Team

The boys lacrosse team came back from a halftime deficit with lockdown defense on Benedictine to turn a 4-3 disadvantage into a 9-5 win Tuesday.

Miles Drinkwalter had 19 saves. Mike Thomas had three goals. Taylor Orner and Woody Marshall had two goals each. Davis King and Trey Ritter each added a goal.

“The story of the game was our defense,” said head Coach Bryan Smith. “Beside one man-up goal with two minutes left in the third quarter, we held them scoreless in the second half.”

The team is now 4-0 on the season.
