Girls Tennis Loses in State Quarterfinals

The varsity girls tennis team lost in the quarterfinals of the state tournament,  6-3, to the Highland School of Warrenton. While they got down after the singles matches, the team didn’t surrender, coming back to win all three doubles contests.

Peyton Johnson and Laura McCarthy won 10-2 at the number one doubles slot.  Sarah Mahoney and Catherine Kanter won 10-4 at number two doubles.  And Jessica Sutherland and Marnie Abraham won 10-5 at number three doubles.
