Middle School Field Hockey Ends Season with Deuces Wild

Middle School field hockey finished the season with a record of 2-2-2.  Eighth-graders Zoey Vooss and Emma Taylor-Fishwick were captains this season.  Forward Katie Georges scored the first goal of the season.  Forward Logan White scored along with midfielder Ann Burns Morrison, a newcomer to the game.  Emma Compton played goalie for the first time during the last game and saved several goals.

“The girls really came together as a team.  They worked hard improving their skills all season long.  They should be looking forward to having a great season next year,” says Coach Michele Purrington. “Most of the team is composed of sixth and seventh graders so hopefully many of our experienced players will return next season.  I am very proud of their hard work and progress this season.”
